May 26, 2017 – Bertha Barber | LeMay | Twin Ridge
With the end of the 2016-2017 school year, contractors are starting to gear up for the start of renovation work for the life safety /mechanical update projects that are occurring at these schools. Work on these projects will begin in full on May 30th. Look for further updates as work progresses through the summer months. Work on all of these projects are scheduled to be completed by August 4th, 2017.
May 26, 2017 – Bellevue East
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Mechanical-Electrical Engineering Services for the proposed upcoming building renovations scheduled for Bellevue East High School has been issued and initial responses from prospective Mechanical/Electrical engineering firms will be submitted on June 1st, 2017. The information from the submitting firms will be reviewed by a selection committee that has been formed and several firms will be interviewed by the committee for final consideration. A recommendation for the selection of a M/E engineering firm will be placed on the July Bellevue School Board agenda.
May 26, 2017 – Bellevue East
Field Replacement Project
Work on the replacement of the existing football field at East will begin in earnest on May 31st, 2017. Final completion of the field replacement is scheduled to be completed by July 14th, 2017 to allow for the start of band and football camps.
May 26, 2017 – Bellevue West
Work is continuing on the field replacement and over 95% complete! The new ground rubber and sand infill is currently be placed and groomed into the field substrate. The field contractor (Midwest Fieldturf) has been working long days to make up for delays due to recent rains and is scheduled to be pretty much completed by the end of the day on Saturday May 27th. Bellevue West will be hosting football camps starting on May 30th so the camps will be the inaugural event on the new turf!!
