July 7th, 2017 – Bellevue West

Roof Projects
Bids have been received for the first round of roof replacement work that will be occurring at West High over the next several years. The Bellevue School Board will be taking action on a recommendation to move ahead with the low bidder on the project at their July 10th Board meeting. It is anticipated that work will begin shortly after approval and work is anticipated to be completed in October.

June 13, 2017 – LeMay Elementary

Work is full swing for the work scheduled for the renovation work included in the life safety /mechanical update project that is occurring at LeMay. Demolition work is ongoing on various mechanical and building components to prepare for new planned work. New fire sprinkler mains are being run through the building in addition to wireless network wiring. The new chiller has arrived at the site and connections to the main building system will be occurring over the next month. The new fire service water main is also being laid into the building for the new fire sprinkler system. New LED lighting in the gym has been completed and new LED security lighting around the perimeter of the building is ongoing. Work on this project is on schedule for substantial completion the first week of August. Look for further updates as work progresses through the summer months.

  

June 13, 2017 – Leonard Lawrence

Plans are also out for replacement of the approximately 90% of the roof systems at Leonard Lawrence. The majority of the roof areas at the building were identified as a high priority for replacement due to existing roof leaks and conditions so this will be one of the first buildings scheduled for roof replacement. Bids for the planned roofing work will be submitted on June 22nd with anticipated Board approval on July 10th. It is anticipated that the roofing work will be completed by the end of September.

  

June 13, 2017 – Twin Ridge Elementary

Work is full swing for the work scheduled for the renovation work included in the life safety /mechanical update project that is occurring at Twin Ridge. Demolition work is ongoing on various mechanical and building components to prepare for new planned work. Most of the new mechanical equipment is scheduled to arrive on-site by the end of June and installation work being completed in July. Work on this project is on schedule for substantial completion the first week of August. Look for further updates as work progresses through the summer months.
