July 31st, 2017 – Bellevue East High School
Field Replacement Project
Work was completed earlier this week on the replacement of the existing field at East High! The work was completed at East in early July so the surface is now ready for school use for the start of band and football camps!.
July 31st, 2017 – Bellevue West High School
Roof Projects
The Contract for the first round of roof replacement work scheduled for Bellevue West has been awarded and it is anticipated that work will begin in earnest the first week of September. Depending on weather, it is anticipated that the work included in this first round of roofs will be completed around October 31st.
July 7th, 2017 – LeMay Elementary
The planned work at LeMay Elementary for the life safety and HVAC renovation work is ongoing with the installation of the chiller unit and ongoing work within the mechanical room. The new unit ventilators for the classroom areas are scheduled for mid-July delivery and work is on schedule for the completion of work by the start of the upcoming school year. The new fire sprinkler, intercom and wireless technology upgrade work is also nearly complete and is running parallel to the completion to the mechanical work.
July 7th, 2017 – Leonard Lawrence
Bids have been received for the first round of roof replacement work that will be occurring at West High over the next several years. The Bellevue School Board will be taking action on a recommendation to move ahead with the low bidder on the project at their July 10th Board meeting. It is anticipated that work will begin shortly after approval and work is anticipated to be completed in October.
