History: In 1965, students who would be attending the new middle school in Bellevue submitted names and voted to name their new school Logan Fontenelle. Logan Fontenelle was the last chief of the Omaha nation, served as an official United States interpreter, and signed a treaty selling most of the Omaha land to the United States and giving one square mile of land to start the community of Bellevue when Nebraska Territory opened for settlers in 1854.
School Mascot: Logan Fontenelle Warriors
School Colors: Purple and White
School Purpose: To help students find success in their lives by being responsible, engaged learners and citizens.
