The meeting began at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Cody Wickham from D.A. Davidson joined the meeting to give an update on refinancing bonds which
would produce a positive savings to the district by-way-of a taxable advanced refunding. Mr. Wickham
explained the difference between a taxable and tax exempt bond. Also, information was shared showing
the projected net savings and projected interest rate.

Safety/Security and Technology Update – Greg Boettger, Director of Facilities and Technology continues
to order the technology needed for the buildings with a focus on the middle schools. Also, Mr. Boettger
shared the new vestibules at Leonard Lawrence and Wake Robin are nearly completed.

Pay Requests – The following pay requests will be submitted for approval at the July 6th Board of
Education meeting.
Logan MS Wall Panel (Rife)                  $37,897.17
CTE Auto Shop (Lund Ross)                 $203,186.70
Wake Robin General/LS (Rife)             $39,451.86

Bellevue East Main Roof – The closeout costs and warranties have been finalized and received by McCoy
Roofing.

Belleaire Projects – All the final closeout items have been completed. Mr. Gladbach shared the final pay
request has been processed and will be released when all the paperwork is complete.

Central Projects – All the final closeout items have been completed at Central. Mr. Gladbach is waiting
for the final documents from Ray Martin in order to close the project.

Bellevue West Partial Roof Project – Mr. Gladbach shared 10 Men Roofing is now working on the area
over the south end of the building, which is over the kitchen and ROTC wing. For the most part the area
over the gym has been completed. The Board approved the bid at the July 6th Board meeting in the amount
of $57,500 from 10 Men Roofing to replace the roof area over the main gym at Bellevue West. The bulk
of the work will be completed prior to the start of the school year, with minor finish work that will extended
into the start of school. This will not disrupt student learning.

Bellevue West Roof Piping –Mr. Gladbach shared the mechanical contractor has completed their portion of
the project with the roofing contractor following behind. The piping work will continue into the start of the
school year, but will not disrupt student learning.

Bellevue West Elevator – KONE Elevator has removed the old elevator equipment at Bellevue West and
has begun the work to install the new equipment. The anticipated completion date is prior to the start of the
school year. If this does not get completed, the building has another elevator that is in working condition
for students and teachers to use.

Logan Fontenelle HVAC Project – Ray Martin continues work on the HVAC project at Logan Fontenelle.
The roof top units finally arrived on-sight. Mr. Gladbach shared the work has been finished in the gym and
locker room, with the units working properly. The duct work has been completed in the cafeteria and will
be functioning in the next few weeks

Logan Fontenelle Fire/Sprinkler – Piping work for the new fire/sprinkler system at Logan Fontenelle
continues. The project is anticipated to be complete by the start of the 2020/21 school year.

Logan Fontenelle Elevator – O’Keefe Elevator is working on the mechanical updates to the elevator at
Logan Fontenelle. The project is anticipated to be complete by August, 2020. It was brought to the attention
of Mr. Gladbach by the contractor that minor work needed to be completed on the elevator shaft to bring it
to the current code for inspection.

Logan Fontenelle Wall Panels – The wall panels have been replaced on the building face at Logan
Fontenelle. The contractor will have some sealant installation to finish, but anticipates the project to be
completed by the start of the 2020/21 school year.

Two Springs HVAC and Life/Safety –The new boilers at Two Springs are in place and piping work for
the fire/sprinkler system is nearly completed except in the attic area. The contractor has had challenges with
the hot weather in the attic, so they are working early morning, along with on the weekends to have the
project completed by August, 2020.

Leonard Lawrence HVAC and Life/Safety –The new boiler and chiller are in place at Leonard Lawrence.
Work continues on the pumps, fire/sprinkler system and security entrance.

Wake Robin HVAC Project – The new air handler for the gym at Wake Robin and mechanical pumps are
completed. The piping work continues for the fire/sprinkler system. The water main installation has been
completed as well.

Wake Robin Elevator Upgrade – O’Keefe Elevator finally received the components needed for the
upgrade for the elevator at Wake Robin. Once the project is complete at Logan Fontenelle the contractor
will begin the installation work at Wake Robin.

CTE Building– On July 14th, the Oversight Committee visited with Mr. Gladbach the automotive area at
the CTE building to see the progress being made. The floor has been finished and three of the lifts have
been installed. The area continues to be on track for completion by the start of the 2020/21 school year.

Dr. Robert Moore, Assistant Superintendent provided a brief update on the automotive program at the
Career and Technical Education building. Also, the automotive area is inline with the equipment that is
currently being used at the dealerships.

Bellevue East Security/Check-in Office – Trophy Construction has finished the framing and drywall of
the new office at Bellevue East. Mill work is underway for the cabinets in office. The project is anticipated
to be completed by the start of the 2020/21 school year.

Bellevue West Auditorium – The schematics master plan for the auditorium for Bellevue West are
ongoing. There were a few modifications to the plan that Mr. Gladbach will review the revised layout with
the administration and staff for feedback.

Mr. Gladbach shared the contractor that worked on the track projects continue to gather the documentation
needed to submit the application for the rubber rebates on the two high school tracks, along with the track
at Lewis and Clark.

The Committee adjourned the meeting at 7:05 p.m. The next meeting date on August 20th will be held via
Zoom. Also, the Committee requested that Mr. Gladbach give them a tour of one of the buildings when
available.
